The "Red Code" Annotated with Case Law
Following his initial commentary on the "Red Code" (Codice Rosso), Enrico Sirotti Gaudenzi presented the volume "Codice Rosso commentato con la giurisprudenza" (The "Red Code" Annotated with Case Law) at the Chamber of Deputies.
The text updated to reflect Law no. 122 of September 8, 2023 which amended Legislative Decree no. 106 of February 20, 2006, regarding the powers of the Public Prosecutor in cases involving violations of Article 362, paragraph 1-ter of the Code of Criminal Procedure concerning the taking of statements from victims of domestic and gender-based violence is intended as a practical resource for all professionals and practitioners involved in handling matters covered by Law no. 69 of July 19, 2019.
Changing to Win Together – Sport Against Violence Against Women
On November 27, 2023, during an event organized by the Unione Sportiva Acli to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. the new edition of the "Codice Rosso" (Red Code) was presented at the Chamber of Deputies in the new Parliamentary Groups Hall. Published by the Rome-based publishing house Legis Giuridica, this commentary has been updated to reflect new legislative measures strengthening protections for victims of gender-based and domestic violence; it also examines numerous rulings by the Court of Cassation regarding the criminal offenses introduced by Law No. 69 of July 19, 2019.
The volume, featuring a preface by the Honorable Simonetta Matone, a member of the Chamber's Justice Committee, was edited by lawyers Enrico Sirotti Gaudenzi, Jacopo Morrone, chair of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into Environmental Crime/Ecomafia and member of the Chamber's Justice Committee, and Michele Rossetti.
